When PVH decided to create an "amalgam" sub-brand featuring the finest in men's ties, they sought a common thread uniting disparate leading designers - and found it with a new brand: Insignia. The brand sought to retain the identity of some of the world's leading designers and frame it within a new concept inspired by the trend back towards hand craftsmanship. The solution was a new standard in neckwear - something that defined a new category: artisinal ties.
